William Johncox

William Johncox has been in this valley most of his life. A strong work ethic led him from the west side of the valley to UC Davis where he double-majored in Spanish (his first language) and bacteriology. He then worked for two years helping raise his brother and upgrading the family’s old rentals while working summers as well in the tomato harvest.

In the meantime, he studied at California State University Fresno and earned a masters degree in Spanish literature. From there, he studied at LACC and received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He worked in private practice and occupational medicine until he returned to school in 2005 to study for his physician assistant degree at Stanford University. He planned to expand his scope of practice and do more for his patients. Along the way, he earned a specialty in chiropractic orthopedics, a certificate in workers’ compensation from UC Riverside, and was a QME (Qualified Medical Examiner) and AME (Agreed Medical Examiner). He worked several years at University Medical Center first in orthopedics and then in neurosurgery. He practiced for over a year in occupational medicine.

Dr. Johncox has been in pain management since 1996. He is pleased to be in Dr. Salazar’s practice and enjoys a collegial relationship with his coworkers. He enjoys growing with the practice. He has three adult children, all in college, and a wife who works at home raising their food.

William speaks English and Spanish fluently.
